Spencer joined Teplitsky, Colson LLP as an Associate after completing his articles with the firm. He has a general litigation practice and experience in areas of practice including construction, commercial, and general contract disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Spencer graduated with a J.D. (Magna cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa. While studying law, Spencer received numerous awards for academic success and community involvement, including the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History Prize which is awarded to the top 10 graduating students (out of a cohort of 300).
Spencer was actively involved in his law school community. His activities included serving as Vice President, Finance of the Common Law Student Society, working as a Teaching Assistant, and competing in the Oxford International IP Moot held annually in Oxford, England. At the Oxford moot, his team placed second out of 60 teams from around the world.
Before law school, Spencer worked in the financial services sector after graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Economics and Environment.
