Rita Benjamen brings a broad spectrum of experience to the practice of law at Teplitsky, Colson LLP.
Prior to joining the firm as an Associate upon her Call to the Bar (2019) after completing her Articles with the firm, Rita obtained an Honours Degree majoring in Law and Society, with a minor in Political Science (2013).
That experience, together with her years at Osgoode Hall Law School (JD, 2018) and her work at the Community & Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP) where she appeared before various boards and tribunals and had direct client contact, have provided real life experience and a firm foundation to continue her legal career.
Rita looks forward to developing a litigation practice focusing on corporate and commercial litigation, real estate and contractual disputes, professional negligence and estate litigation.
