Malcolm Woodside is an Associate at Teplitsky, Colson LLP and a member of the Colson Group. Prior to joining Teplitsky, Colson LLP in 2021, Malcolm summered and articled at an international law firm. His practice encompasses a wide range of commercial and employment litigation matters.
In the context of employment litigation, Malcolm has represented clients in matters concerning wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, human rights complaints, and workplace investigations. During his articles he also gained experience assisting with a wide variety of labour, employment, and commercial litigation matters.
Malcolm is a dedicated advocate who appreciates a challenge. He represents his clients with passion and creativity, using all the tools at his disposal to protect their interests.
Malcolm was actively involved in his law school community. This included serving as Co-Chair of the Distinguished Speakers Committee, a student ambassador, and working as a Teaching Assistant. Malcolm also represented the University of Western Ontario in several national advocacy competitions, including Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, the National Client Consultation Competition, and the Hicks Morley Labour Law Moot.
