Theresa graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2013 with an Honours Bachelor of Social Science. In 2016, she obtained her J.D. from Windsor Law.
Theresa summered at a community legal clinic before transitioning to the private bar and articling with Teplitsky, Colson LLP. Her articling term involved exposure to each of Teplitsky, Colson LLP’s diverse practice groups. Theresa applies this wide knowledgebase to her work as an associate with the Wortzman Group where she primarily practices commercial litigation.
Theresa is passionate about Alternative Dispute Resolution, having spent a term abroad at the University of Hertfordshire where she focused her studies on this topic. She also has prior work experience in the field of restorative justice and mediation. Theresa employs this collaborative approach to conflict resolution to assist clients in achieving their unique goals.
Theresa has appeared before several administrative tribunals and has advocated for clients in Provincial Offence matters.
